Our Mission.
In March 2020, our world turned upside down overnight as we encountered challenges that we’d never faced before. We frequently labeled those times as “unprecedented” or “extraordinary”, but little did we know just how impactful they’d be.
At the height of a global crisis, we proactively transitioned our corporate team to a temporary work-from-home situation. Needless to say, the word “temporary” has a much different meaning to us now.
Over the next two years, we rose to the challenge. Our team coordinated remotely – some from across the country – and still produced some of the best years our company has ever seen. We closed a record-breaking number of loans, served well over 10,000 families, became Connecticut’s #1 Lender (according to the Warren Group), and more – all because an incredible group of people came together to help others in the face of “temporary” adversity.
It wasn’t lost on us how fortunate we were to be thriving while many families and individuals in our surrounding communities suffered unimaginable hardship.
We never forgot – and that was when the Total Mortgage Community Foundation was born.
At its core, our mission is to serve and support the needs of local communities through education, charity, and volunteering. We look forward to building partnerships and creating bright futures for the communities where we live, work, and serve.
