We had the opportunity to catch up with Sarah Domena of Adam's House CT this week, and she graciously shared the impact that our Community Foundation donation to the organization had for their operation.
Of the funds raised from our wildly successful first TMCF Golf Tournament, we contributed $7,000 to Adam's House, which is a grief counseling center focused on providing grief support for Connecticut's children who have lost parents or other close loved ones.
Our contribution supported 7 individuals to benefit from the "Helping Hearts Heal" Program offered by Adam's House--an 8-week grief counseling program, where children and their families can form meaningful relationships with others who are sharing in their same grief healing journeys. We're grateful to have played such a small role in these children's lives, and are excited to continue to report on the impact our Foundation is having on the youth and families of our communities!
